What Doorderly does
An honest inventory. Everything under “Available now” is built and working; everything below it is not, and is listed so you can judge whether Doorderly is far enough along to be useful to you yet.
Available now
- Property records
- Name, full address, type (single family through apartment building), year built, and free-form notes. Properties can be hidden from public listings while still visible to you — useful for a rehab you are not ready to advertise.
- Units within properties
- Bedrooms, bathrooms, square footage, monthly rent, and occupancy status. Deleting a property removes its units with it, so nothing is orphaned.
- Portfolio dashboard
- Property and unit counts, occupancy rate, and monthly rent from occupied units. Vacant units are listed directly so the gap is visible without hunting for it.
- Web management panel
- Sign in from a desktop to add, edit, and delete properties and units. Built for the involved work that is unpleasant on a phone.
- JSON API
- Your data is reachable programmatically, so it is not trapped in somebody else's interface.
Not built yet
- Tenants and leases
- Occupancy status is currently set by hand. Once leases exist it will be derived from whether a unit actually has an active one.
- Rent and payments
- Charges, payments received, balances, and who is late. Rent figures today are the agreed amount, not a record of what has been collected.
- Maintenance requests
- Per-unit tickets with status, priority, dates, and cost.
- Photos and documents
- Property images and signed leases attached to their records.
- Mobile apps
- iPhone and Android, for the quick jobs away from a desk.
